Not really. Firstly, the designers of the MSChart clearly got confused, as they don't know thje difference between a bar chart and a column chart. What they call a bar chart is a column chart. And they don't actually support bar charts, which is what you are asking for.

So, no, not easily. There may be a possible solution involving rotating the bitmap, but that that rotates the entire image icluding the text/labels, e.g.

Well, yes, you can. Are you intending to write your own chart control? Or is it that you've had an idea about how you want part of your display to look, and the MSChart control came closest to that idea?
