MS Word Toolbars not appearing automatically in Internet Explorer

Hi,
I have a Java application that opens word docs in IE for editing. I've setup macros for printer toolbar which works fine when opening word locally on the system but when in IE the toolbar doesn't appear automatically and I have to go - view - toolbar and tick the relevant choice. Would anyone have any ideas?

Hi Bob, thanks for the mail.
The word version in 2000 and IE is version 6.0. MS have said it isn't possible to get word toolbar to default into IE but I have one client which it works on, no idea how.
