I have Word documents (mostly newsletters) from other folks that I frequently need to convert for display on our web page in HTML. These folks love using graphics, text boxes and decorative fonts that look nice in print but often don't work too well to HTML using Word's "Save as Web Page" option. The text box content disappears or is put in the wrong place, graphics are scattered to the wind, margins are screwed up, and the HTML code is overloaded with a lot of worthless information (forget the decorative fonts, I can create GIF images for them without too much effort).
I guess my question is, what is the simplest way to convert a Word document to HTML without loosing the formatting...or am I simply looking for something that doesn't exist? I use Acrobat and it works well...but I really would prefer to publish the stuff in pure HTML.

I'd say don't worry about losing the formatting.

I'd just saved it as text file and paste into FP and fix it like you want there. You'll spend and equal amount of time fixing the WORD TO HTML conversion... with a lot more frustration.
