Hi, I am designing a document template which has 5 paragraphs, and there is a name which appears in every paragraph, but I don't want to type in the same name 5 times repeatly. So, is there a way (like the the formula functions from Excel) to link all these 5 sections together? For example, when I change the name in the first paragraph, and the others will change as well. Thank you so much!!

I don't have time to go into detail right now - but take a look at REF fields - that is the way to do it.

Enjoy,
Tony

Or, if the first data entry location is a formfield - say named "Name", then whereever you want the same value:

1. go to where you want the same value, and press Ctrl-F9.
2. type the name of the originating formfield (eg. "Name")

If the original formfield is set for Calculate on exit, all other field that reference it will show the same value.
