Word document with a Table of Contents. Each time the file is opened the page numbers for the Table of Contents are all set to 0. However, the page numbers within the document itself are all working correctly. If the Table of Contents is updated, the page numbers are fine. File is saved and closed but then as soon as it is reopened, it has reset back to 0. The same file can be opened up by other people with all page numbers correct. Is this a corruption within Word?

Do you have a default printer driver installed and set as Windows Default? I've noticed on some users' computers that if they have Desktop faxing, badly written fax macros swap the default printer to the fax driver resulting in some strange effects in Word.
