Hi there........

I was wondering if anyone could tell me a way to have a superscript tolerance appear on two separate lines? I need a tolerance to be +50 / -0 but I want this to be superscript on two separate lines (similar to a fraction but without the dividing line)next to the number that has the tolerance. Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this?

Thank you

may be u could use equation editor. then, if you have to, you can mask the line with a small white rectangle

Format | Font

Select the Character Spacing Tab.

Play with the Spacing and Position Values.

If I understand correctly, try this:

Type your number - in, say, 12-point
Press Ctrl+F9
Type EQ \O(+50,-0)
Select the "+50"
Select Format > Font
Make it superscript and 8-point
On the Spacing tab, raise it by 2 points
Press OK
Select the "-0"
Select Format > Font
Make it subscript and 8-point
Press OK
Press Alt+F9 to hide the field code

Assuming it's the way you want, experiment with font sizes and raised and/or lowered positioning to get it exactly right.

Enjoy,
Tony
