On occasion I've used MS Word templates where you click on a word or words that are highlighted. When you click on that highlighted word, the entire word is selected and replaced by text with no highlighting left over. I'm trying to do that with a document that will be used as a template. I'm trying to highlight some words that will draw the end-user's eyes to that word and prompt them to type in the correct information.

I've looked through the 'Insert' and then 'Quick Parts' but I can't find anything that is this, well, simple.

Help is appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks!!

I think it is called a 'text form field'? But I can't find how to insert one.

Thanks!!

Yeah, so Google is my friend. Hope this helps someone else. I KNEW I'd figure this out as soon as I posted, heh.

Insert a text fill-in field

*On the Developer tab, in the Controls group, click Legacy Tools.
*Click Text Form Field.
*In the Controls group, click Design Mode, and then do any of the following: To add a line under the field, select the field, and then click Underline in the Font group on the Home tab.

Thanks!!
