I have a user who gets the printer properties box everytime they hit the printer icon on her MS Word (2002)toolbar, as if they hit CTRL P. I have completed the following diagnostics: 1) recreated user's profile on the OS, 2) ran Office's "Detect & Repair", 3) all users don't have the issue on any other workstation, 4) deleted and recaptured the printer(s) 5) issue is persistent on all network printers, no local printer on the OS, 6) only occurs in MS Word, all other programs, XLS, PPT, Outlook, etc. print fine.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The button itself seems to have been substituted somehow.

Go to Tools, Customize, Commands tab, and in the File category find Print (and not Print...) command. Drag that to the toolbar and remove the existing button.
