For some time now, we have had a form in use within the business which I initially created in MS Excel. The form is used to report incidents which occur within the business. The form is submitted via email and i have some code behind the form which outputs key fields into an email alert to some users. Some time back, I had to modify the form to use an embedded form text box. This was required to accommodate large amounts of data (we had previously been loosing some data).
On the whole the form works very well. However, we do have some occasions where users are complaining because they are wanting to cut and paste data from other documents into the form and the embedded text box does not allow this.
In order to overcome the problems, I was considering recreating the form in Microsoft Word. However, I have no idea if/how it is possible to output form fields from the form to an email.
Can anyone assist with this.
