MS Word doc Viewing Problem

I have a CFM website where people can upload their resume in MS Word format.. that part works fine, but when I do a search and click view resume...it asks for a network password, I click cancel and the document opens in IE , where is should open in word..... HELP!!! climbto350.com

It sounds like a browser configuration error and/or permissions issue. How are you linking to the document exactly? Can you post a copy of the link from within the browser?

Have you tried using the CFCONTENT tag to display the Word file? Maybe this will help you avoid the problem. Good luck on making your January 18th deadline ;-). Let us know if you have figured it out... <webguru>iqof188</webguru>
