MS Word can't find USB port printer?

Hi,

I have added a USB printer to my Win 2000 computer. If I use the supplied HP software the USB printer produces just fine.

When I go through word and try and print it tells me it cannot locate printer.

I am not sure if this is a USB socket problem or a set up in word, can anybody advise?
