MS Word Bold/Flash upon startup

Greetings,

I have a client who has dates in a column of a MS Word table. When he opens up the document, he would like to have any dates that are equal to today or xx amount of days before todays date to be formatted to BOLD and BLINKING BACKRGROUND.

I'm relatively a newbie in this area, so any suggestions and ideas are greatly appreciated.
