I've not used Word for creating forms, but I'm wondering if an on-line (intranet)form could be created with an automatic number generated i.e. 0001, 0002 etc.
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks

I am confused. You state you are NOT using Word to make forms...yet your subject is "MS Word - Auto numbering forms".

You have to give much more information regarding your post.

What is giving the incremented number, where is it going etc etc.?

A can on-line "form" give an an incremented number...probably.

I would leave an area for a real person to hand number it... or if it gets emailed you can type in the number...

I think the only way you could accurately number a form is via a database of some kind.
