MS Word 2003 colour palette customisation 1

Hi,

I'm creating a template and want to include easy access to the company's corporate colours -- either through a toolbar, or as the default choice of colours when you select a colour, which I know is possible in Excel.

Is this possible in Word (without coding)?

Repeating a thread does not actually improve your chances of getting a response.

I do not know about 2007 - and you should always mention what version you are asking about - but earlier versions...no, I do not think you can do this.

Although, I am not totally sure what it is you ARE asking.

What exactly do you mean by this? Easy access in order to do...what?

Excel (pre-2007) has a limited colour palette which is customisable. Word already allows all colours so, in that sense, it cannot be customised.

The colours available directly from the tear off toolbars cannot be changed. You could create your own toolbar but it would require code - and you can't create a palette that looks like the built-in one but with different colours, although I suppose you could come close with a userform.

If you upgrade to 2007 you could create a Theme using your corporate colours - and use the same theme across all apps.
