MS Word 2003 and sharepoint

Hey guys, I got a strange problem with 2 computers running Microsoft word 2003 that save documents to a sharepoint site running under portal server 2003, every so often, word forgets its sharepoint capable, so when you go to save a document it looks as though your trying to save a document from notepad where you see the Forms folder even in the document library, and after saving it does not prompt for some options I got as columns to be filled, to fix it I did a detect and repair from the Word help menu, but it has happened again with the same 2 PCs, any ideas about this problem?

My first guess make sure that all the updates are installed for word and office.

Second is there any other programs running on 2 said PC's that are not on any of the others?
