MS Web Folders and other apps like 123

I am setting up remote access for a client. He wants to use Microsoft Web Folders to access his files at the office from a remote site. The problem is the files are Lotus 123 files which open in the browser but not in the Lotus app itself.

This prvents him from being able to edit and save these files back on the server. He ends up downloading them to edit then e-mails them back. This problem also occurs with some text documents. Web Folders do not support Open With. The OS is 98SE w/ Ofice 2000 and Smart Suite 9.

I set the MIME type for Lotus in IIS.

Does any one have any thoughts on how to get these apps to play nice together?
