Is it possible and what are the suggestions for removing the hotpatch uninstalls, assuming all is working well after the initial installs?!!

These are found under c:\winnt

John

Even if they are working, Micro$$oft made those patches because of a flow in their system, I suggest not to uninstall it unless you will be running applications that are not compatible to the latest service pack.

There is no place like 127.0.0.1

Yes you can delete the hidden unistall folders
ex: $NtUninstallKB817778$

You just wont be able to remove the patches at a later date.

Out of curiosity, why the exception? What might it relate to? That particular one is not installed on my PC.

John

ex: $NtUninstallKB817778$

Sorry, some things are not to be taken literally,EH?:~/

Thanks for the replies.
