Hi

I am trying to preview web pages in MS Publisher 2003.

Error Message

You do not have a browser currently registered to show html files.

Recently had to download updated MSIE because of a virus on the original. Since the download of the new version I cannot preview web pages.

Thank you Alan.

I suppose you have XP and in the short time since I've used it, I've forgotten exactly where, but it's called "File Association" eg, Open With....

In "A folder", ie, My Documents, go to Tools - Folder Options - then one of the tabs is called, from memory, View or File types.

You can match file types to programs there...so you'd be going for .html and selecting IE from another list.

Not great instructions, but it's one of the easy things to do with computers so you'll work it out!
