Hi
Our college is planning to rollout Windows XP, our Windows 200 machine use Proxy Client and they work fine. When I put the client on XP (use the local administrator) and the machine is rebooted the adminstrator account can browse the internet fine.
If I restart the computer and log in as a domain user they can browse the internet. However if they log off and they or another user logs on it takes about 40 seconds before they can browse the net.
I have removed the ip addresses from the configuration script, but I do not fully understand the "make all proxy clients resolve DNS names on locally configure DNS server" Windows XP is using DCHP.
Any help would be appreciated
