Got a new laptop (HP9653cl) with core 2 dual processors and downloaded the latest MS Project, 2007. About twice a day, my 3,000 line MS Project file crashes. It takes part of a task set from up above and scatters it around the schedule, with generally some of it ending up on the bottom. I've taken to not Saving, but doing Save As every time (rev 2, rev 2a, 2b, 2c, etc. ad nausum). This way, when (not if) it crashes, I can go back to the file I saved a few minutes ago and not lose hours of work.

VERY Frustrating!!

Any insights on this?

I'm ready to take this brand new laptop and put WinXP on it and Project 2003!! Is it time to throw this Windows machine in the trash and go to the dark side (Macintosh)?

Thanks,
Mike
