I need to remove specific dates from my project. The tasks have a duration and the project is 31 days but its for a proposal with no set timeframe as of yet. So I need to remove specific dates.

How can I do this?

I would just assign the start date to some arbitrary future or past date, say 1/1/2008 or 1/1/2000. I don't think you can bypass the project start date feature.

1. Tools | Options | View-tab.

Set the "Date format" to the last in the list which shows a day-of-the-week/week-number format

2. Project | Project information and set the start date to the first working day of January (it doesn't really matter which year).

3. Format | Timescale and set the Labels as appropriate.

Format > Timescale setting the 2nd row (Month/date) display to None worked great. I was able to then put the generic project in my document as an image.

Thanks for the help
