Currently, I am able to create a new project from the browser but this requires me having MS Project already open and have a template open that I am creating the new project from. This is done using a web page stored locally on the users machine which has VB script in it to create a new project from the already opened template.

What I want to do is click a button on my web page (IE 5.5+ browser only) which creates a new project from a template, stores the project info in an Access DB on a server and then add a link to the web page. I like to avoid having MS Project already open or running a VB script file on the users machine but because I am still new to VB, I don't know if this is possible or how to do it.

If anyone knows how to do this can you please let me know or can offer another way of doing this.

Thanks

Peter

Dear Peter,

did you think about using MS-Project-Central, which is the web tool of ms-Project?
