MS Project 98 Technical problems

Hi,

I need some help with MS Project 98 which is being run on a Networked NT operating system. Currently there have been several problems where the Project 98 application has Frozen, mainly during a save which has rendered the project file unopenable. It is at times possible to restore the file from a salvage bin on the server but the rate at which the salvage bin is emptied is not know. If you could help me in finding a tool that can be used to restore corrupt project files or any informtaion i would greatly appreciate it.
