MS Project 2003 Error user name/password combination. (5002)

Hello Guys,
I am completely new at Project Server 2003. I was able to install it and I set up a user account with Windows Athentication. The account is active, flag is selected to log on and the password is correct but I am receiving the following message when I log in as that user: You have entered an incorrect user name/password combination. (5002)

Any Thoughts,
