MS Outlook unable to send/receive mail

Hi,
When the send/receive button is clicked, the error msg appears: "Unable to send mail, problem occured with the message interface. "

There is a mail in the Outbox, not Sent Items, which has not been sent because of the problem. The mail cannot be opened, upon trying to open, a msg: "The MAPI Spooler is already sending the mail." It cannot be deleted.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook(or the program it came with, i.e., Office)?

I haven't tried that, it's a last resort because installing takes time and I need to find the CD. Thx for the suggestion.

HI,

I use Outlook express, not the same, but if that happened in OE, and something similar has, first thing I'd do is go to tools/accounts, then choose the "serveers" tab, and make sure the incoming and outgoing servers my username and re-type my password, are correct, then close OE, and start it again, I know MS Office is different, but it must have a server ISP...

If this does not work, I'll phone my ISP, ISP and email servers have many problems surprisingly!
