I have recently moved from using OE to MSO. I have found the message rules that use the "or" operator only acts on the first item.

eg my rule is:
with "A" or "B" or "C" in the senders address
move it to "X"
and stop processing more rules.

This rule only acts on the first item ("A") and ignores the rest. I have tried re-arranging the A B and C, but it is always the first item.

Where am I going wrong?

Cheers,
Brodie

Have you tried to split A, B or C into 3 different rules instead of 1?

OK, I sort of answered my own question.

It turns out the rule only acts on the ACTUAL email address and not the associated friendly name. It was pure coincidence when I was swapping the order around, the first item had a match both in the name field and the email address field.

My Q now is: Why does the message rule only act on the address and not the name as well?

Cheers,
Brodie
