I have two computers on site both running Microsoft Outlook 2000. When they open outlook they get the following message
"Some files added to outlook contain macros be sure to click enable macros when prompted to ensure that customer manager functions correctly" Selecting macros or not doesn't stop this message appearing everytime they open outlook. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

I am assuming that there is an Add-in installed somewhere called "Customer Manager". The only three ways I can think of to get this "warning" to stop appearing are:

1. Uninstall the Add-In (more than likely not an option.
2. Set Macro Security to Low (not a good idea)
3. Find out who wrote the Add-In. Get them to digitally sign it, and distribute it again.

With option 2, the Warning screen will appear one more time after re-installing the Add-In (using the signed file), but the "warning" message will look a bit different. It will inform you who signed the Add-In. By checking the CheckBox (to trust the source), you will no longer be asked to enable macros for this (or any) procedures written by that source (if they use the same certificate).

I hope this helps!

Peace! [peace]

Never say Never!!!
Nothing is impossible!!!

thanks Mike but all the computers on site run Outlook2000 and only these two are having this problem. Also both say they have not changed their outlook or added anything to it. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling outlook but it just picks up the same settings and the problem is still there.
