We run a linked network. Basically we have no dedicated server. Yea I know. But this is what the boss wants. Anyway, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to setup a shared contact list. This way anyone who changes or adds information, everyone would have the same information. Of course people would have their own personal contacts as well. We have a drive that works like a backup, but I don't think that would work.

Also, would it be difficult to pull everyone's contacts into one? I was thinking of having it on mine (backed up to the external drive), and having evryone access the information from my computer.

Thanks for any help.

Since you no dedicated server, that means you're using .pst files. Sharing of .pst files is not supported by anyone other than some fly-by-night organizations that put out products that do nothing but cause .pst corruption. Avoid them at all costs.

you can forward contacts to another person and then they could add from that easily... select a bunch of contacts : right click : forward items..

You couldn't do a dynamic share thing.. but you could create a new pst with the organizations contacts in it.. and if you get a new one someone could go and add it.

Then new users would just have to import that pst file to their own outlook. *shrug*
