Ok I cannot sem to find any How-to information in the Help files for MS Outlook 2000 or 2003. I am looking for the hardware set up portion specifically. I have a modem on my laptop that does work. But how do you connect the phone portion or is it just a headset connected to your PC? I want to be able to launch my contacts list, select the person I want to dial up and then click the Auto-dialer and talk to them all through my PC without having to purchase anything else. The MS Outlook software is supposed to let you do that.

Thank you.

I just wwanted to update this question with more detail.
I am looking to use the MS Outlook Auto-dialer with a digital phone. Is this possible and how do you set it up?

Thank you again.

To use OUtlok Autodial your device needs a TAPI dialer, if your digital telephone supports TAPI great, if not then you are stuck.
Most monern PABX's have some kind of CTI with TAPI integration but the cost varies between systems
