I have been unable to send out attachments via Outlook for several months now. Normal messages are delivered fine, but any attachments are delivered as "windat" files". I have sent e-mails to numerous people with the same result. When I send to myself or another address on my system the attachment comes out correct. Please advise.

check the format of the mails that you are sending...change the format of your outgoing mails to HTML, or if there is an option turn off TNEF, this is the format that allows MAC users to view Windows attachments, if you are using Exchange server there is an option to turn off in there in the Connections Protocol and Advanced.

check this for a handy download..
