MS Outlook Add on

I am a beginner at delphi and have been asked to research if it is possible to create some sort of Add-on for MS Outlook. to be honest i don't know hee to start.

Is it possible?
Can i do it in delphi?
do i need any type of Office development kit?

wheres the best place for me to start looking???

Turbopower has done components to Office.
I don't know more about them, but you can download them from sourceforge.net
