I have Office 2000 running on my home system and am unable to launch Outlook without it immediately erroring out. I have removed Office and re-installed several times with no luck. My question is, where are my emails stored locally within outlook so I can back them up to CD before formatting my system and re-loading? Thanks.

Hi, if you are using internet mail only, they should be stored as a .pst file.

One other suggestion before you reformat would be to try using the inbox repair tool.

Good luck.

Peter
