MS Office - utility/reg file to update shortcuts to .exe's

I am looking for a utility or reg file that I can edit to give to users that will update their Microsoft Office shortcuts (Startup, Start menu, desktop icons, etc.) to point to new locations of Office's .exe's.

For example, if someone's shortcuts are pointing to Excel at c:\program files\microsoft office\office\excel.exe, I want the utility to change them to c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\excel.exe.
