Hello,
I've got a question and I'm not seeing any easy answer to this, maybe it's so obvious I'm just missing it...

I want to do my MS office updates without using the CD at each workstation. All my workstations are running 2000 and I've got a 2000 server.

Is there an easy answer to this?

Thanks!
Karen

Karen,

You can do an Administrative install of you office 2000 CD to the Server as long as you have the space.

This will allow you to install office 2000 to the workstations without having to remember the install key.

You can also use this to install your office updates for the web or downloaded files. When the update prompts you for the cd, just redirect it to the server file location.

You can find instructions for this on the microsoft web site under the knowledge-base.

Good Luck,
Ben
