MS Office problems with VPN

I have been using my vpn without problems for 6 or more months. But lately I've been having some weird problems.

I am getting a Sub System App error.

I can not print to my local printers although it is checked in my options on my xp computer.

Sometimes I cannot see any printers on my network at the office.

MS Word crashes nearly everytime I try to open it.

Home PC is XP Home edition, Server is 2003, targeted pc is xp prof.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
