All:

I fear I'm in the worong forum but this seemed the most logical.

The Office Links drop-down feature (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) is not turned on when I preview a report. Does anyone know how to turn it on?

I have tried evertything I know how from reinstalling to reparing the installation and nothing works.

Hi Ron,

Stating the obvious first, have checked Tools -> Startup 'Allow Default Short-Cut Menus' checkbox?

Darylle:

Tools -> Startup 'Allow Default Short-Cut Menus' checkbox is checked. In fact, all check boxes are checked.

No effect.

Ok, I presume you'll be looking for a quick fix?
I think that your main issue may possibly extend into 'War & Peace' (although the solution may well be simple).
The default short-cut menus are not an ideal solution anyway, the following solution is.
You can always investigate the real problem at leisure then.

Try this:

Try a quick test on your app. and let me know if it suits your needs (should do - simple and quick to add the menu to form / report objects).
