MS Office connect to MS home edition?

I just purchased a laptop for my home but I want to access my work too.

Is there a problem connecting Office and Home?
I was hoping to use a VPN and log into the server in my workplace?

Can someone please give me some help or advice.

Is there a VPN server at your workplace? If not, have a VPN client on the laptop won't do any good. Also see forum463
