MS office 2007 can't save to network drive.

I have searched for this on Google, but no solutions that applied to me came up.
I can't save to a network drive or network location from word 2007. I have Vista.
The most popular solutions are:
-Antivirus software
Have tried to disable this, no change.
-offline files
Also disabled, no change.

Microsoft doesn't offer any help, other that saving locally and cut/paste to the share, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Please help.
