MS Natural Keyboard Pro and bootmanager

I recently bought an MS Natural Keyboard Pro. It works fine within operating systems (XP, ME and SuSE 7.3) and also for accessing my BIOS but doesn't work bootmanagers: I've tried LILO, Boot US and the Win XP bootmanager. I've also tried using both the PS/2 and USB ports. The BIOS settings look to be OK but when I start Linux is see an error messgage "Keyboard not present". My old, no-name keyboard works fine.
