In the UK, just been to the US and I bought a Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth, and am having problems getting it to work.

OS is WinXP and I am fully up to date with all hotfixes (I believe)

Prior to connecting any hardware, I put in the setup disk for mouse and ran setup instructions. Did this under an admin account.

It says make sure I am installing in the same language as my OS, so being unsure as to whether there is any difference between UK and US I have tried this with
both options unsuccessfully. Either way, both installs allow me to get to the point where it says to put the transceiver into the cradle, and then connect the cradle to a USB port on the machine.

The PC knows I am installing it, as as soon doing this as it pops up the new hardware found and actually tells
me it is a Wireless Bluetooth mouse. I then reboot as per the instructions, and then upon restart I am prompted to hit next, whereupon it searches for any bluetooth devices.

It then just keeps coming back to that screen. If I look in Device Manager it tell me there is a problem, but the troubleshooting doesn't help. (Yes I put batteries into the mouse, and the mouse itself lights up when I move it)

grrrrrrrrr

Any advice most welcome

Finally found it. After searching Google, I came up with an MS article that tells me it won't work with a Bus powered Hub. I plug in the power and away it goes - Would just have been nice if MS could have suggested that article instead of Google <grrrrrrrr>
