Hello,
I was doing some cleaning on my computer recently and stumlbed on an article stating that MS Java Virtual Machine was not needed anymore if you have Sun Systems Java Start program. Is it possible to turn off/remove this feature in windows 1998 SE?
Computer
750 MHZ Pentium III
320 MB Ram

Thanks,
Zack

Is it possible to turn off/remove this feature...

Which feature? MS Java Virtual Machine or the Sun Java program?

Yeah, sorry, that wasn't very clear. Is it possible to turn off/remove MS Java Virtual Machine?
Thanks again.
Zack

not needed anymore is not entirely correct.
Some banking software still ONLY works with the MS Java.
So, as long as it does not really bother you, I would suggest to leave it there.

Do yourself a big favor and RIP both of them out of your box....atleast the MS version....
