MS internet information service with JDBC

Has anyone noticed any difficulty that MS internet information service installing with JDBC drivers in the ODBC components? I tried to install it on my NT server and it literrally collided with those drivers. i guess it tried to install a SQL server and choked on the drivers (i guess). it really did alot of damage. the BIOS wouldnt even start
has anyone seen this before, im reimaging my server now but i wanted to know if i should expect to see the same thing happen again....

We have multiple IIS Servers of different versions running on different OS's (NT Server 4, Win2k Server, Win2k Advanced Server) with concurrent Java Web Servers running on the same boxes. The java web server applications use JDBC to connect to both Oracle and SQL Server databases. The IIS ASP applications use ADO to connect to both databases as well.
