ms intellipoint mouse and 123 - scrolling?

Is it just me or does 123 v9 fail to support vertical "wheel" mouse scrolling while running under Win XP Pro? I hav a cool new mouse that scrolls horizontally but won't scroll top to bottom. The vertical scrolling works in dialogue boxes but not in open worksheets. Any fixes? I'm running a Gateway notebook and using the Intellipoint 5.2 driver.

I also use an old Compaq PC that runs 123 97 under Windows 98. Vertical scrolling works but Win98 doesn't support the latest drivers for horizontal mouse scrolling.

i have lotus s/s9.5 on win98 and the wheel works 100% ok.
but s/s 9.7 on xp will not scroll.
lotus site says it not sup'td.

a fix would be really good.

I had to install 9.8 to get xp to even install Lotus. It won't install 9.6.

- Loaded IBM Scrollpoint II drivers and it fixed the problem:

worked on lotus ss 9.7 on xp pro and xp home
using logitech cordless optical mouse- installed over logitech drivers - seems ok
dell wheel mouse - ok
and optical mouse- uninstld intellipoint drivers first - ok

i didn't Use IBM Download Director - no point
