We have an issue with our exchange server Information Store service. Our server suffered a power outage as the UPS supplied was faulty causing the server to completely loose all power while running. Upon re-boot i noticed the exchange server took a while to log on. Once logged on the Exchange information store could not be accessed.
I went into services and saw that Exchange Information Store was set to "Starting" and could not be stopped or re-started. After 20 Min the service actually did start and the information store was mounted successfully.
We are running Exchange 2K SP3 and W2K SP3 and Trend Scan Mail for Exchange 6.
Any suggestions on how to fix up the slow information store service issue?
