Hi, What are the required ports in order to get exchange 2000 server work behind the firewall?
I already opened port smtp, 135, 110,139,137,138 is there any other ports that I need to open?

If I put the server outside the firewall and give it a real ip address everything would work fine, but behind the firewall Outlook Express 6 gives these errors:

The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'mail.delsoftcorp.com (1)',
Server: 'mail.delsoftcorp.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'mail.delsoftcorp.com (1)',
Server: 'mail.delsoftcorp.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Thanks

You don't say what services you want to offer to the internet.
Whatever services you want, open their corresponding ports.
SMTP- open port 25, pop3- 110... etc..
Looks like those 2 are taken care of... re you offering web mail? port 80

If I were you I would NOT put the server outside the firewall... Put it on the inside, and setup whatever ports you need.
