MS Exchange 5.5 = no internet

Hi

Strange one this - i have just had a chat with a friend of mine who tells me that the company he is working for loses the ability to connect to the internet when using MS Exchange 5.5. Apparently they have to quite Exchange to allow internet access.

They are using 10.4.1
Internet access is via their LAN

Unfortunately this is all the info i have at present

I just wondered if anyone had ANY idea what might cause this?

That makes very little sense - they have to stop the exchange server?

The only (blind) guess I can make is that the Exchange server is messing up name resolution?

That's still quite weird. I haven't worked with Outlook for Mac so can't help. Sorry.

I have and it shouldnt do this.

Can you get more info? Is Classic running when Outlook has been quit? What LAN setup? Possibly IP problem?
