MS Exchange 5.5 Crash

We recently performed a full restore on an NT 4.0 PDC running Exchange 5.5. Everything works fine now except for exchange -- when I run the server manager, it says it cannot locate any exchange servers.

(We are given the dse_communications_problem error.)

All of the database files are still on the harddrive and appear to be fine.

Can someone help me get this guy back and running, I'm a newbie with Exchange.

Is the computer name the same as the one built with exchange that you have restored from? Njoy!

Quick update (no longer in panic mode)

I tried to run the isintg.exe -patch command, but it failed...

So...just for kicks...

I reset the NT sysadmin password to what it was before the restore and everything is now working fine.

Strange.
