MS Excel Pivot Table - Link Multiple Pivot Tables to Multiple Charts

Timely insight needed.

I inherited a MS Excel workbook that has over 20 pivot tables on the same worksheet - displaying a quarter over quarter analysis (on the same worksheet) and what initially appeared to be, 20 related clustered column charts.

Upon review, only 3 pivot charts are actually linked to the pivot tables.

What is the preferred method to use to link the pre-existing charts to the corresponding pivot tables so that when the pivot changes - the related chart changes?

Or, is it preferable to manually re-create the pivot charts?

Hi,

Busy sheet with 20 PivotTables and 20 charts.

PivotCharts are good. Just figgure out which chart goes with what PT.

Now the other 17 charts. Get each one's source data be right-clicking in chart and selecting Chart Data to get the referenced range.
