MS Excel fill Series collection in chart with only one value? 1

Hi everybody,

Is it possible to create a line in a chart based on ONE value?
(to occupy the Series Collections)

I’m creating an application that created dynamic charts of the source data in an Excel database. This Data is filtered on several criteria and has dynamic name ranges to fill the Charts Series Collections and so create the specific charts.

Everything works like a charm but I have a lot of Constants of only ONE value. (these are Specifications to make the chart readable)

Normally I would fill a column with these values en the have my line anyway. But because I have more than 150 constants (in a separate sheet) I’ll have to find a way to get the lines occupied with that value.

I hope someone understands my Query en has an answer or a good Work around.

Do you have to change the constant value of one series to one of 150 from the other sheet?

Sheet2.Range(MyConstant).Copy
Sheet1.Range(MyConstantSeriesData).PasteSpecial

where
MyConstant is the address or range name for a constant
MyConstantSeriesData is the series data range for the constant.

I think I know what you are trying to do here!
I will take a look at my sheet and try this out.

For you're question All the constants wil be updated from time to time because they represent Specifiations of Producst Lower control limits, Upper control limits and Targets. (so they change when the spec changes)

But firs I wil try this out.
