Hello all,

I wondered if anyone new if there was a DOS way of opening up an access database, which is equivelent to double clicking on it in windows explorer whilst holding down the shift key. ie a way that dos can open a ms access database in administrator mode,

Any ideas would be gratefully recieved,

If you look at the help for 'Startup command-line options', you'll see the syntax for opening with exclusive access. IS that what you meant?

Note quite, but I've been able to use this to get to what I want anyway,

Cheers
